Tell us what's wrong. We'll tell you how urgent it is.

This site is organised by symptom, not by service name. Find what is happening, do the first steps on that page, then call us — and we will be straight about whether it needs someone now or can wait until the week.

Why symptom-first

Nobody searches for a service category at 11pm

Most plumbing sites list services. That is useful if you already know you need a "sewer lateral replacement". It is useless at 11pm when there is water on the floor and you do not know what any of it is called.

So we built this one the other way round. Every page is a sentence somebody actually says, it opens with what to do before we arrive, and it tells you honestly whether this is an emergency or something that waits. Sometimes the page solves it and you never call us. That is a fine outcome.

How we work
  • Every page opens with what to do right now, before anyone arrives
  • A clear priority level, so you are not guessing whether to panic
  • Free checks listed first — several of these pages can save you a call-out
  • Call-out fee stated on the phone, not at the door
Priority levels

What the labels mean

We put one of three levels on every problem page, and we apply them honestly. Telling you something can wait costs us an emergency call-out and keeps you as a customer.

Call nowWater you cannot stop, sewage in the house, or any gas smell. These do not wait.
Same dayDisruptive but contained. No hot water, one blocked toilet, a leak you have isolated.
Book itAnnoying but stable. A slow drain, a smell, pressure that has declined over years.

Feedback

What customers say

“Called about a burst pipe and the first thing they did was talk me through finding the shutoff. That saved more than the repair cost.”

Homeowner, the Heights

“Told me over the phone to check the reset button on the water heater. It worked. They did not charge me for a visit I did not need.”

Homeowner, Oak Forest

“Said my slow drain could wait until the week rather than selling me an emergency call. Booked it, fixed it, done.”

Service area

Houston and around

We're on Houston Avenue just north of downtown and cover Houston and the surrounding area — the Heights, Montrose, Garden Oaks, Oak Forest, the Northside, Rice Military, and out toward the Beltway.

Emergencies are prioritised over scheduled work, which means a booked appointment occasionally moves. If that happens we call you rather than leaving you waiting.

FAQ

About how we work

How is this site organised?

By symptom rather than by service name. Most people searching for a plumber are describing a problem, not shopping for a category, so the pages are named for what has gone wrong. Each one starts with what to do before we arrive.

Do you charge for a call-out?

For repair visits, yes, and we tell you the amount on the phone before we dispatch. We would rather you heard it then than at the door.

Do you guarantee a response time?

No, and we will not, because a guarantee we cannot reliably hold is worth nothing. What we will give you is a realistic window on the phone and a call if it changes.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes, licensed and insured in the State of Texas. Ask us for licence details when you book — it is a reasonable question for any contractor.

What areas do you cover?

We're on Houston Avenue and cover Houston and the surrounding area, generally inside about 20 miles — the Heights, Montrose, Garden Oaks, Oak Forest, the Northside, and out toward the Beltway. Call and ask if you are at the edge of that.

What don't you do?

Water damage drying and restoration, mould remediation, drywall and flooring, foundation work, gas utility emergency response, and electrical beyond our own connections. We name them rather than stretching our scope.

Not sure how urgent it is?

Describe what is happening and we will tell you straight: call an emergency out now, book it for today, or leave it until the week.
