Why we publish the free fixes
Several pages on this site will stop you calling us. The reset button on an electric water heater. Running water into a dry trap. Checking that the main valve is fully open. Each of those solves a real percentage of the calls in its category, and each one is written near the top of the page rather than buried.
That costs us call-outs. It is also the only version of this business we are interested in running, and in practice the person who did not need us in March calls us in October.
On the word Express
It is in our name, so it is worth being precise about what it means and does not mean. It means emergencies get priority over scheduled work and we triage properly on the phone. It does not mean a guaranteed arrival window, and we will not print one. A promise like that gets broken the first time two burst pipes land in the same hour.
Claims we won't make
A guaranteed response time. That every call needs an emergency visit. That we can quote a hidden leak before finding it. That chemical drain cleaner is a solution. That we handle water damage restoration. That a gas smell is a plumbing call before it is a utility call.

Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, in the State of Texas. Ask us for licence details when you book.
Why don't you guarantee arrival times?
Because emergencies reorder the day and a guarantee we cannot hold is worse than no guarantee. We give a realistic window and call you if it changes. That is a smaller promise, kept.
What don't you do?
Water damage drying and restoration, mould remediation, drywall and flooring, foundation work, electrical beyond our own connections, and gas utility emergency response.
Do you really tell people not to book?
Yes, and several pages on this site are built to do it without us on the phone. A reset button, a dry trap, a partly closed valve — those are free fixes, and publishing them costs us call-outs we would rather not have taken.
